Rules
Your turn
Place one mark in any empty cell. There are no restricted areas, and nothing ever gets removed.
Scoring
- +1 for every new straight line of 3 (→ ↓ ↘ ↙), even across the faint area borders.
- +1 bonus when all 3 cells are inside one 3×3 area.
- Longer lines keep paying: 4 in a row = 2 lines, 5 = 3, 6 = 4. Each segment scores once.
Defence
- +1 when you take a cell where an opponent was about to make 4 or more in a row (max +2 per move).
- Blocking a plain 3 earns nothing, though it can still be a good move.
Winning
Areas never lock. Play until the board is full, and the highest score wins. Equal top scores tie.
